Special Olympics
Special Olympics at Neuqua has 5 sports throughout the year (months are approximate):
Unified Soccer : September - October
Basketball : November - January
Swimming : January - March
Track & Field : March - April
Bowling : May
We will have practices on Tuesdays & Thursdays during each season. These practices are after school until about 3:45. We meet in room D145 right after school and walk to wherever practice is held together.
Some of the sports are Unified, and others are not. If a sport is Unified, that means Unified Partners are on the rosters and play with the athletes during games and tournaments. If a sport is not Unified, that means the partners help during practice and cheer on the athletes during the games.
We look forward to having you join our team!
