Asian Student Association
The Asian Student Association is a social-cultural organization that is open to all students who are interested in Asian cultures such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Malaysia, Philippino, Singaporean, Thai, Vietnamese, and etc. We aim to promote cultural awareness in appreciation of the rich diversity that exists within the Asian American community through organizing social events in the spirit of entertainment, friendship, and unity in a fun, comfortable, stereotype-free environment for individuals from all ethnic backgrounds to come together and learn about our differences as well as discover our similarities.
Black Student Alliance
Black Student Alliance (BSA) is a club designed to give a safe space to African American students looking for a smaller community within the larger Neuqua community to connect, build relationships, and communicate their experiences in school and the world around them. It is an open club that welcomes all students. We typically meet in C200 at 2:45 starting in September on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month through the month of April.
Fellowship of Christian Students
Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) is an inter-denominational student-led organization that meets weekly to study, connect, and discuss the Christian faith.
The Neuqua Valley Gay/Straight Alliance is an organization focusing on human rights. GSA brings homosexual and heterosexual students together to promote a safe and accepting environment for all regardless of sexual orientation. The mission of this club is truly to combat homophobia in our school and to help achieve equality for all people. Activities include community service projects, fundraisers, and social events.
Muslim Student Association
The Muslim Student Association is a service organization that typically meets every Friday after school. The MSA sponsors various service projects along with two formal dinners. One of these dinners is to celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Any student interested in learning more about Islam and engaging in dialogue with fellow students is welcome to attend.
Operation Snowball is a substance abuse prevention/positive self-esteem/teen leadership program for all students. There are two weekend retreats each school year - one in the fall and one in the spring. Learn more about yourself while learning about others. All five Naperville area schools participate on the weekends. Having fun and making good choices are what Snowball is all about.
